Struggling and shy British photographer Sean Carwin reluctantly flies to the United States on orders from his estranged father to claim an inheritance awaiting him there. Unbeknownst to Sean is a wave of obstacles and adventures that serendipitously place him on a path to true love and self discovery with Natalie, a loud and liberal Seattle girl who turns Sean’s world upside down.

But, when his father’s two old colleagues show up to claim the inheritance as theirs, Sean begins to discover a web of mystery and deception in his father’s past, finally bringing Sean to understand his own childhood, and the man his father really was.
